What a difference a day makes! The sun is out, the sky is blue and it’s actually really, really warm!!!
On Sunday, yesterday, I took a very, very long walk with Charlie and Canon up to our usual woods. What an amazing place it is! I have been going every day for at least the last 12 years (apart from holidays and when I’ve really been far too poorly to move from my bed) and every walk brings new pleasures, yesterday was amazing. The fact that we’ve had so much rain and now the warmth from the sun has brought forth Spring in a rush.
I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside and just feel happy and appreciate what I’ve got. I’m so lucky to have the hubster, he really is my best mate and I have some really, really special friends, I bump into people – I don’t know their names but chances are I know their dog’s name..and here is one such dog…he’s actually quite a new boy on the block and has already found his place settled in and got a girlfriend! I spent a good 15-30 minutes just watching him running about and launching himself at other dogs as they approached…he is a big ball of fluff….a joy to watch.
The trees were just fabulous, the greenest of greens almost a vivid lime green…this is what we call the Cathedral and it is truly stunning –
There is a huge Copper Beech tree and the leaves are coming out in force now but they aren’t yet the rich red…this is the view above my head….
Charlie didn’t want to be left out of course and he was beginning to tire but true to form he put on his most handsome face (well I think so!) I think this is where you’re meant to say “Ahhhhhhh”!!
I would like to apologise for the fact that now all my images are marked with a copyright signature and they are of much smaller resolution – the sad fact is people are having their images stolen from Facebook…what is going on with the world…well I’m in a good mood so I’m not going to let that bother me today!! 🙂
In fact I’m in such a good mood that something that usually gets my goat actually had me chuckling and reaching for my camera to capture the offensive scene…..
