Well I’m beginning to feel like a total fraud…travelling? I don’t think so! We received news that we didn’t want to hear this morning!! The company that make our Motorhome (Hymer) were meant to send a Certificate of Conformity to our dealer so he could send it to the DVLA (Vehicle registration in the UK) – well guess what? YUP they haven’t sent it yet! I know there’s nothing we can do about it, we could cancel the order and go and look for another motorhome but it’s been so difficult finding the make, model and layout that we wanted plus this is a left hooker which will make it so much easier driving in Europe.
So what do I do when I’m really annoyed? I go out into the garden with my camera and try and get some good shots that will cheer me up!
This little fella really made me smile and then out of the corner of my eye I saw a little tiny mouse! Now believe me normally if I see a mouse I run off screaming like a banshee however today I was protected by the lens, amazing things these cameras!!
I can’t tell you how long I lay on the hard, cold and wet paved patio area, my neck was sore and my eyes going fuzzy when this happened. I can only apologise that the photos aren’t very sharp, I think by the time the little critters arrived I had cramp and was a little shaky…well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it!!
I never thought I would be trying to get as close to a couple of mice EVER in the whole wide world but it was fabulous! They were so tiny I think the little one on the left wasn’t even an inch long!! and to think I’m normally not keen on them! I can’t tell you how excited I was or how disappointed I was when I saw the results!!
It’s such a long time since I did my Taking Snaps blog, I’ve kind of forgotten how to upload the images, these are such low resolution and it’s been a bit of a nightmare but I will try and get it sorted out as soon as possible.
In the meantime, it’s ‘Chin up’ time for us and I’ll keep you posted.
