Oh my goodness, I do wish I could tell you all about what is going on around me at the moment! I have been having little fits of the giggles!! Unfortunately, I know there are certain people on this campsite who read this blog, “you know who you are!!” and if I were to write what’s in my head at the moment, I would probably get evicted. However, I promise that once we leave here and I have a day where I don’t have anything of interest to write I will refer back to this afternoon and tell you some tales, all I can say is I appear to be surrounded by the strangest people, it’s a bit like living in the ‘Twilight Zone’ as they say up north “there’s nowt as queer as folk”!!
OK – so back to things I can write about without being charged with libel!!!
We woke this morning and received a phone call telling us that someone we knew had died suddenly, he was in his early 50’s and leaves behind young children, so that kind of set the mood for the day. However, it certainly makes me think that we are absolutely right in doing what we are, life is so fragile and far too short. Then we attempted to remove the copious amounts of Bird Poo off Harry’s windscreen, this isn’t bird poo, this is something unknown to man, it contains superglue and cow dung!! What a job, it’s still all over the roof and the skylight and no doubt it’ll be all over the windscreen again tomorrow. On top of this, the weather is grey, it’s what I call a ‘non weather day’ it’s not fine, it’s not raining, it’s not cold, it’s just nothing! You can see the way our day went, all is not fine in Paradise!! The wardens have been very sweet and have said as soon as there is a space (treeless space) available they’ll move us, I think if we were parked up here for a night or two it wouldn’t be so bad but knowing we are here for another couple of nights is not reassuring. We are most definitely going to have to invest in a bucket!! That’ll teach us to put the dog first eh?
So let’s keep this topical with the photos!! Birds!!
And lastly, I had such fun last night working on this image, it is, in fact, a branch of Cow Parsley taken from below. I really love this and think it would make a great wall print, so I shall add it to my “Images for Sale” page.
