Day 14 Motorhoming in France … Gourdon to Rocamadour

I’m afraid words fail me! I have been totally awestricken today. I can say nothing that will describe this incredible place so that you will understand how amazing it is. Castle and sanctuaries built into the rock face, facing my vertigo was an achievement and I feel incredibly proud that I actually went up on to the ramparts of the castle this evening. The photos don‘t do it justice. The Hubster drove like a star, taking the narrow roads with sheer drops in his stride (please note the sheer drops were on my side!!!) Charlie, however, not overly impressed with the whole shenanigans!

Tonight we are staying at an Aire just next to the castle, so an early morning walk may be called for. I leave you with a slideshow of this magnificent place. Enjoy.
